How to Do Acrylic Nails

Long, beautiful and healthy nails carry a significant role in the beauty and style statement of a woman. Women who can’t carry long nails in their routine life always have the option to wear acrylic nails whenever an event approaches. Acrylic nails are artificial nails worn on one’s natural nails for beauty. Their long size and natural and healthy looks have made them popular among women. You can easily wear acrylic nails at home and save money spent on getting services of a beautician. So go through the below mentioned guideline and take pride in those long, glistening and beautiful nails.

Things Required:

– A set of acrylic nails
– nail cutter
– nail brush
– file
– acrylic powder
– brush-on glue

Instructions

  • 1

Firstly, remove polish from your nails and then clean them with the help of a nail brush. Trim your actual nails to the skin, smooth rough areas and get rid of (any) dead skin.

  • 2

Apply a little glue on the tip of  your natural nail and then attach the acrylic nail to it. Hold the acrylic nail for a while till it is attached firmly to your natural nail. You may apply more glue to the end of the acrylic nail so that it firmly attaches with your natural nail. Keep it pressed for sometime and then repeat the process for other nails.

  • 3

Trim the artificial or acrylic nail with a file and smooth it to your desired length.

Now apply a coat of brush-on glue to your nail and then dip it into the acrylic containing powder tub. Again apply a coat of brush-on glue . Brush alongside the edge of both your acrylic nail and natural nail. Do it quickly to smooth out the acrylic.

Repeat by applying both acrylic dipping powder and brush-on glue to form a curve to the nail. You may apply a coat to the tip of the acrylic nail to ensure a smooth and even look but use thin coating on the tip.

Moisturize your cuticles with moisturizing nail oil to counter the drying effect of acrylic and filing.
